DISCOVERY CENTRE OPENING!
What an amazing morning we had last Friday for our Grand Official Opening of our Discovery Centre!
After a culmination of many months of hard work, it was an absolute privilege to have our Centre opened in front of invited guests, friends and family. Our children were excellently behaved and I was very proud of their singing and interaction.
Member of Parliament, Mr Simon Power was present to address our guests and to officially unveil the plaque. He was extremely impressed with our centre, our children and our school.
Thank you to all to who attended a special thanks to Board members and staff for their assistance in preparation and help at the morning tea for guests and to Linda Penfold and her sewing group friends who made the new cushions. Thank you also to Alan Ramsay for all the photos he took of the occasion.

BULLS KINDERGARTEN VISIT
We had a fantastic visit to the Bulls Kindergarten last week. The teachers, children and house leaders had a fabulous time and we are certainly looking forward to our next visit.
Thank you very much to Kerri and her team at the Kindy for hosting us all. Thank you also to the parents who assisted with transport – it was very much appreciated.

ohakea variety bash
WOW!! What a fantastic afternoon our children had on Friday at the Ohakea Variety Bash!
Our children’s behaviour was excellent and are to be congratulated for following all instructions, bringing home their rubbish and were rewarded with bags full of goodies.
This day was for children whose behaviour in the classroom and playground has been excellent and was part of our Golden Time. To refresh your memory, Golden Time is a reward time for children who have had not received more than one detention.
This is a great way to encourage our students to behave responsibly and make the right behavioural choices – well done!

Clifton School Twilight Picnic
We had a fantastic response to our first ever Twilight Picnic. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend as well as the parents and friends who cooked the “sausys”.
It was great to see all the old and new faces at school and judging from the smiles, the children had a fantastic time!
Thank you also to all staff members who attended and assisted throughout the evening.
